Our group posted a rough cut of our thriller opening. We had used the rough cut to gain feedback from the audience and they gave both positive and negative feedback.
Positive feedback
The audience feedback was positive. The audiences enjoyed our groups opening to a thriller and they said that that actors performance was really good and he played his role well. Our thriller opening kept the audiences uneasy and the ending scene was a big surprise for the audience. As they did not expect to see a dead body there and there was no indication that our character was a 'psycho killer.'
Negative feedback
However, there were some criticisms about our thriller opening. One criticism was that some scenes were shaking and it seemed unprofessional. Also, the audience criticized that they can hear another music in the back ground during the kitchen scenes and the audience complained that it distracted them. Also, they criticized that the opening was not chilling enough and the title of the film should not have been placed at the end of the opening, as it should have been placed somewhere in the middle of the opening.
